HDR Remodeling, Inc, a Design + Build residential kitchen and bath remodeling company, is looking for an experienced Office Assistant. This office opening is a part time position in our Berkeley location (20 to 30 hours per week).  If you are interested in working with this small but exciting company, please send your resume and cover letter to be considered. You would be the first point of contact (Director of First Impressions) for new clients that are interested in using our services. This includes answering phones and pre-screening the potential clients with a list of questions and, if they meet our criteria, setting up an appointment for the Head of Design/Sales to visit them at their home. 

his position is responsible for providing support to the Design/Sales and Build teams.  Daily duties will include answering phones, pre-screening clients, updating Builder Trend and project files, and maintaining customer contacts. Assist the Head of Build with coordinating and scheduling subcontractors.  

Other administrative responsibilities include but aren't limited to: confirming all appointments, scheduling in-home sales meetings and in-office presentation meetings, assisting with marketing efforts, tracking the sales leads, and other general office tasks.

Compensation: $18-20/hour depending on experience with benefits
Work Day: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or negotiable 

Desired Skills & Experience:

Three+ years administrative background
Very good phone and people skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
Able to work independently without constant supervision
Previous scheduling/dispatcher experience a plus
Advanced computer skills – Word, Excel, Google, Email
Knowledge of Builder Trend software is a major plus
Ability to take notes during meetings and distribute notes after the meeting
