Philip Anderson is the founder + President of HDR Remodeling. He started the company over 30 years ago as Honey Do Repair (HDR), a handyman company. Philip finished his education in 1972 with a Master’s degree from John Carroll University, Cleveland and has work for IBM (Chicago), Proctor & Gamble (Cincinnati), and Clorox (Oakland). He decided to strike out on his own as a small business owner. The company’s reputation for quality work and superior service made the business successful. It was our clients who inspired the transition into full service remodeling.
Chris Fellows is the Head of Production. He and his qualified staff of skilled HDR employees will bring your project to life. Chris directs all the trade professionals, vendors, and suppliers like a conductor directs an orchestra. With over 15 years of experience in construction, Chris has been in the HDR Remodeling family since 2009. He carries a California Contractor’s License for General Building Contractor B and Class C-6 Cabinet, and Finish Carpentry.
Kevin Mond heads up the Design department. Kevin will work with you to create designs and to solve all of your complex architectural framing and engineering challenges. Kevin holds a degree in Architecture and Environmental Studies. While in school, Kevin worked on projects in Holland, Germany and Sweden. Kevin moved to California and joined HDR in 2012, and is accredited through the National Architectural Accrediting Board.
Ana Mathys, the Design + Production Coordinator will assist you and our designers to take your project from inspiration through to completion. Ana is instrumental in helping you choose the right finishes and fixtures for your remodel.
Ana will guide you through every step of your project ensuring that you meet all the critical checkpoints to ensure your project comes in on-time and on-budget. By using the industry-leading BuilderTrend software, it allows you instant access to your project timeline, calendar and product selections at the click of a button or remotely from your smartphone or tablet.
Sue Wiseman has been the Office Manager + Bookkeeper for 21 years. Sue keeps you up-to-date on project expenses and progress payments. With her expertise and knowledge of the business, she is also involved in the estimating process and works with our trade professionals and vendors.
