Berkeley Kitchen Remodel
The homeowners had been living in the house for 15 years. They loved their home, but did not like the choppy layout. They wanted to expand and remodel their kitchen to meet the needs of their family by expanding the kitchen and add an island for food prep and casual family meals and wanted to integrate the kitchen with the family room space for TV viewing. We removed walls to enlarge the size of the kitchen to encompass the family room and reorganized the kitchen layout to add a spacious island. We removed the laundry room and rear stairs to create an in-kitchen eating area for casual family meals or doing homework. We relocated the refrigerator to enlarge the doorway to the dining room. The stove wall was removed in order to create an “open floor plan” kitchen integrated with the family room. We removed the rear glass door and replaced it with a non-operating window.
When we were finished the clients said:
“true professionals, so hard to find contractors with form, function and customer service”
