Chris Fellows - President

Meet Chris - Chris Fellows is the President and Head of our Build department at HDR Remodeling. He and his qualified staff of skilled Project Managers and Lead Carpenters will bring your project to life. With 25 years of experience in construction, Chris directs HDR Remodeling's trade professionals, vendors, and suppliers like a conductor directs an orchestra. He has been with the HDR Remodeling family since 2009.

Chris carries a California Contractor’s License for General Building Contractor B and Class C-6 Cabinet, and Finish Carpentry. He is also a NARI certified Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM), LEAD R&R Certified, C2 Asbestos Hazard Safety Certified, and Window & Door certified Winteq Installer.

Kevin Mond - Vice President

Kevin Mond is Vice President of HDR Remodeling and heads up the Business Development department, Design and Marketing. He is normally the first point of contact for new clients. Kevin shows a strong passion for the Design-Build process and truly believes this method is the most effective way for remodeling single family residences. Growing up in a family of architects, engineers and builders this industry runs in his blood.

Kevin likes to spend his free time with his wife and son in the outdoors. You will often find him camping, surfing or trail running in the mountains.

Originally from Argentina, Kevin grew up in Iowa. Kevin holds a degree in Architecture and Environmental Studies. While in school, he worked on projects in Holland, Germany and Sweden. Kevin joined HDR Remodeling in 2012.

MILTON TONG - Architect

Meet Milton - Milton Tong is a California Licensed Architect focused on residential architecture. With over 30 years of experience in many building types, contemporary and traditional architectural styles, and construction detailing for custom work, Milton brings a broad range of expertise to find the best solution to your unique aesthetic and needs. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly, and Masters of Architecture from UC Berkeley, is a Green Point Advisor and LEED Professional.

TAMAR NACHSHON - LEAD DESIGNER

Tamar brings over a decade of expertise in interior design and architecture, specializing in residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction. She embraces each project as a unique challenge and a new opportunity to realize her clients' visions. By considering both the aesthetic and functional aspects of a home, Tamar crafts distinctive design solutions that balance daily practicality with budgetary constraints. This thoughtful approach has led to numerous successful residential projects.

Tamar holds a Bachelor of Studio Arts from UC Santa Cruz and a Master’s in Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. She is also LEED GA certified.

Kendall Chapman - Designer

Kendall joined the HDR Remodeling team in 2021 and is currently a Designer. She is a creative who understands the importance of making a house feel like a home and strives to design unique interiors that reflect her client’s taste, lifestyle and personality. She offers a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward thinking with a trained eye for quality, color, and mixing of diverse elements. 

When she is not designing, Kendall can be found dabbling in photography, walking her rescue pup, or taking on DIY home improvement projects.

Cindy Van - Client Relations

Cindy works alongside all departments including – sales and business development, marketing and branding, operations and the overall client experience. She is likely to be your first point of contact. In her role, she enjoys the puzzle of iterating and perfecting a process. She loves meeting new people – her favorite part of her role is connecting with the community and hearing the story of their homes.

One of her favorite experiences was spending three months in Cambodia after college to spend time with family and immerse herself in the culture. In her free time, you’ll likely find her at a live music event, dogsitting, karaoking, or spending time with friends and family.

Erika Lao - HR Office Manager

Erika has over five years of dynamic HR experience, seamlessly managing everything from employee relations to planning engaging corporate events. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology I/O from CSU East Bay and a Master of Business Administration from CSU Monterey Bay. Erika is always eager to learn new systems to improve workflows and enhance employee experiences.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, getting crafty with DIY projects, or hitting the slopes for snowboarding adventures.

Elsa Vasquez - Bookkeeper

With 20 years of experience in accounting, Elsa oversees all financial operations at our remodeling company. From managing financial transactions and reports to maintaining records and ensuring compliance, Elsa plays a key role. Holding an AA in Business Management and Bookkeeping, she excels in month-end and year-end close processes, providing accurate financial insights that guide the company’s strategic decisions.

Outside of work, Elsa enjoys quality time with family and sons, karaoke, and singing in a salsa band.

Alberto Navarro Ruiz - Production Manager, CRPM, CLC

Alberto leads the Build Team as Production Manager. Joining HDR in 2015, he's been a long-standing member of the team where he brings over 10 years of expertise in the remodeling industry as well as a degree in Construction Management. Alberto enjoys being able to build and deliver high quality service to his clients.

He is family-oriented, outgoing, and enjoys being active outdoors and traveling in his free time.

Omar Mahzoz - Estimator

Omar has more than 7 years of experience in all things construction from project management and estimating, to the sales and customer service side of the industry. On weekends when he’s not at the gym, Omar spends his free time volunteering for non-profits at Save the Children and International Rescue Committee.

Julio Perez - Project Manager

Julio started his career building homes from foundation to roof. Through his 25 years in residential construction, he's honed his skills completing many high-end kitchen and bath projects, and learned all of the trades needed to complete a project entirely on his own. He’s worked with HDR Remodeling for years and loves the team and clients. On weekends he enjoys barbecuing with his family and riding dirt bikes.

Wilson Ramos - Project Manager

Wilson joined the HDR Remodeling team in 2020. Born and raised in Guatemala, he's lived in the United States for many years and currently resides in Oakland. For nearly a decade, Wilson has been honing his skills as a carpenter in the Bay Area general construction field.

Jose Ramirez - Project Manager

With 15 years of experience in construction, Jose's journey began at age 12, assisting his dad and uncle in the summer where he would help haul lumber. Today as a project manager, he excels in delivering customized client experiences and expertly coordinating all aspects of home transformations. His skill in "playing chess" and managing multiple teams ensures smooth and successful projects. It all pays off in the end with happy clients the space coming together after a long process.

When he's not working, Jose enjoys exploring new destinations with his wife, with Italy topping the list. He also treasures spending time with his daughter and creating lasting memories with his family.

Fernando Gaspar - Carpenter

Fernando has ten years of experience and specializes in decks and fencing. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and son.

Rigo Galindo - Carpenter

Rigo joined HDR Remodeling with four years of residential construction and one year of commercial construction experience. His experience includes general construction experience such as framing, window installations, and door installations. 

His favorite part about his job is making sure the clients are happy with the work and have an amazing experience – making their dream house become reality. He also appreciates learning new skills during the process. 

In his free time, he enjoys traveling and seeing new places. But most importantly, he enjoys spend time with loved ones.
