Virginia Berkeley Bathroom Remodel

Master Bathroom Addition

The upper level of this Berkeley home remodel consisted of a new master bathroom addition in the master bedroom keeping in line with the blue and gray theme as not to break the mold. The Ice Grey bathroom sink cabinets from Kohler are set in a Carrera marble countertop slab and the accompanying shower walls are tiled in Clear Sea City Glass in a vertical offset subway pattern.

Downstairs Bathroom Remodel

HDR Remodeling removed a bathtub in the lower level bathroom remodel and moved it upstairs to make room for a walk-in shower. A local tile shop, The Tile Shop, recommended the LABC Lanka Tile, a 4x16 inch Matte White subway tile pattern to seal in the shower walls and allow for a more dramatic pattern for the flooring. The Fireclay Cypress tiles on the floor were hand painted in Navy Blue Gloss and Blue Velvet to create a truly unique design.

Upstairs Bathroom Remodel

Upstairs, we combined two smaller existing bathrooms into one large bathroom remodel allowing us to accommodate and reuse the existing bathtub that previously resided downstairs for almost 100 years. The bathroom vanity from Touro features two soft close full extension drawers and was paired with matching floating shelves made of clear reclaimed oak. With small 2x2 inch Hex tiles in Matte White along the walls and 7x8 inch Nero Matte Hexatiles from Import Tile, this bathroom remodel plays all the angles.

This home renovation included three bathroom projects. The lower level bathroom went through a complete transformation, and upstairs, we added a bathroom addition in the master bedroom and converted two smaller bathrooms into one large shared bathroom.
