Key elements of this kitchen remodel included removing the wall dividing the kitchen and dining room, creating an open-concept layout that allows light to flow freely and connects the kitchen seamlessly to the rest of the home. A multifunctional peninsula was installed in place of the wall, offering expansive countertop space for baking and entertaining, as well as generous storage on both sides.

To address these issues, we reinforced the floor joists, eliminating the bounciness and ensuring a solid, stable foundation. A key design solution was reconfiguring the kitchen layout into a u-shape, which significantly increased both countertop and storage space while seamlessly integrating the new induction cooktop and dishwasher. One of the standout features of this u-shaped kitchen remodel was the use of Paperstone countertops, an eco-friendly material made from compressed recycled paper and petroleum-free resin. This durable, non-porous surface offers the rich aesthetic of stone while being stain-resistant, easy to clean, and highly sustainable. To further elevate the design, we installed Lilya Deco Blue hexagon tiles as a backsplash, adding a bold and stylish accent that complements the modern aesthetic of the space.

The laundry remodel also required strategic modifications to maximize functionality. An existing, unused door was removed, allowing for the installation of custom storage solutions that optimized the available space. These thoughtful changes transformed the laundry area into a more practical and organized environment.
