Our Design Team gave each space a traditional, timeless style in sync with the aesthetics of the rest of the home. Upon entrance, the main stairway pinched the access to the kitchen, and forced guests to zig zag their way to the main entry. HDR Remodeling replaced the window with a French door, widening the kitchen’s opening to the hallway and providing more open circulation.

Unique to this kitchen was the removal of the island, which is typically added to kitchen remodels for more workable space. However, we improved this workspace by reconfiguring the elements of the kitchen to incorporate more countertop space than the original layout. Tile choices throughout the home add a twist to the classic aesthetic. Careful attention was paid to the patterned backsplash in the kitchen. The bathroom features a wall of blue hex cement tile with a sawtooth edge, adding an element of surprise and harmony with the wood vanity and brass hardware.
